Description
Candy Striped Leafhoppers (Graphocephala coccinea) caught my attention over the summer. This one looks a little rough, but many of them have bold red striping that's hard to ignore. These fantastic little bugs really live up to their name, hopping from place to place shortly after being approached. This one was an exception, as it was busy producing some kind of liquid that collected on the underside of the leaf it was perched on.
